The DL4SCI Summer School is designed for advanced graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, academics, domain scientists, and engineers. Ideal participants have a strong interest in applying deep learning to scientific problems on high-performance computing (HPC) systems. A technical background with prior knowledge of machine learning, especially deep learning, programming skills in Python, and experience with deep learning software such as PyTorch are strongly recommended. Applicants will be selected based on merit, with a goal of creating a cohort of future leaders in deep learning for science.

The registration fee for the school will not exceed $100. Applicants with successful applications will be invited to register.

We will have limited travel and accommodation support, as well as registration fee waivers, for applicants with strong applications who can't attend otherwise.
