Shuttle/Transportation

A special shuttle will be provided between the downtown Berkeley area and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for the event. Please make sure you take the shuttle that says "Special Service" and let the driver know you are part of the Deep Learning for Science School that is happening in B50-Auditorium. The special shuttle will run at the times listed below and will do four round trips. Please note the estimated time for the shuttle to arrive at the stop is between 15-20 min:

Morning Shuttle:

 Mon 23rd, Tues 24th, Wed 25th, Thur 26th, Fri 27th, and will run from 7:45 am - 8:45 am  

• 1st stop Pick up from Clark Kerr Campus 2601 Warring St, Berkeley, CA 94720

• 2nd stop to Downtown Berkeley - bus stop will be at the main downtown Berkeley stop near Bart Station/Oori Triangles -177 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA 94704

• 3rd stop drop-off attendees at B50-Auditorium

Evening Shuttle:

 Mon 23rd, Wed 25th,Thur 26th, and will run from 5:00 pm -5:45 pm 

• 1st stop Pick up from B50- Auditorium 

• 2nd stop drop-off Clark Kerr Campus 2601 Warring St, Berkeley, CA 94720 

• 3rd stop drop-off Downtown Berkeley - Main downtown Berkeley stop near Bart Station/Oori Triangles -177 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA 94704

Tues 24th, and will run from 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm

• 1st stop Pick up from B59 

• 2nd stop drop-off Clark Kerr Campus 2601 Warring St, Berkeley, CA 94720 

• 3rd stop drop-off Downtown Berkeley - Main downtown Berkeley stop near Bart Station/Oori Triangles -177 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA 94704

Fri 27th, and will run from 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm 

• 1st stop Pick up from B50- Auditorium 

• 2nd stop drop-off Clark Kerr Campus 2601 Warring St, Berkeley, CA 94720 

• 3rd stop drop-off Downtown Berkeley - Main downtown Berkeley stop near Bart Station/Oori Triangles -177 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA 94704

In addition to this dedicated service, attendees may also use LBNL’s regular shuttle system, which runs multiple routes between the Lab and key Berkeley locations, including downtown and the BART station. Shuttle rides are free, but a valid LBNL badge or visitor pass is required. You can view real-time tracking, schedules, and route maps at the Shuttle Website.

If you are staying at the Residence Inn:

Lab Shuttle Bus Stop is only 2 min walk from the hotel and is located in front of Oori Rice Triangles. You can take the Blue UpHill shuttle and exit at Building 50. 

If you are staying at the Clark Kerr Dorms:

The lab shuttle bus stop is located just outside the Clark Kerr Campus on your right. The shuttle will take you to Building 50.

What do I do if I miss the shuttle?

In any case if you missed the shuttle from Downtown Berkeley you can take the Blue UpHill shuttle to exit at Bldg.50. Blue Route Map/Schedule

If you missed the shuttle from the Clark Kerr Dorms you can take the Rockridge Route shuttle to exit at Bldg.50. Rockridge Route Map/Schedule
